What is PGH SK8 School?
PGH SK8 School is our flagship program which aims to create a safe space for all ages and abilities to learn how to skate. Our instructors teach various styles and technical skills in a welcoming environment.
Location: Homewood Brushton YMCA, 7140 Bennett St, Pittsburgh, PA 15208
Lessons : Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00-8:15pm ( lessons begin promptly at 7:15 pm but we suggest coming at 7:00pm to get laced up)
Skates available to borrow
Bring a water bottle, vending machines available. No food in Gym.
Students are encouraged to stay and practice after lessons at open skate.
All ages & abilities welcome
PARENTS/GUARDIANS MUST ACCOMPANY MINORS, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILDREN.
Open Community Skate : Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:15-9:30pm (after lessons)
Must have your own skates
Great time to practice without lessons
Vending machines available, please bring your own water bottle.

Come to YMCA gymnasium, check in, let us know if you need to borrow skates and HAVE FUN!
