PGH SK8 Collaborative (PGH SK8) is a non-profit on a mission to develop accessible and quality roller skating spaces and programming to empower our community to strengthen their physical and mental health. We support and encourage all skating styles, abilities, ages, races, bodies & genders. Our Goal is to create safe spaces where people can connect, heal and build healthy communities through skating.

Skate Lessons in Pittsburgh

  • We are located at the Homewood YMCA 7140 Bennett St, Pittsburgh, PA 15208

  • No experience needed, all ages and abilities welcome.

  • Skates available to students

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:45p-8:00p

  • Please complete our waiver before you arrive for your session.

Volunteer

PGH SK8 is a volunteer led non profit organization. We rely on amazing volunteers to help with everything from skate events like Schenley Summer Sk8 & Open Streets to data collection and organization. If you are interested in volunteering we would love to work with you!

Roller skating can be part of a solution for many of the challenges facing our communities. Through skating we build confidence and heal complex trauma. Help us sustain and expand our work with youth and people of all ages in Pittsburgh.
